DIR Launches ITSAC Portal
AUSTIN - The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has launched a new online portal to assist its customers in the procurement of IT staff personnel. The Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) portal is designed to facilitate, automate, and validate portions of the competitive bid procurement process. The portal will streamline the solicitation process for DIR customers, ITSAC-awarded vendors, and DIR staff.

Texas Releases 2020-2024 State Strategic Plan for Information Resources
AUSTIN - The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has released the 2020-2024 State Strategic Plan for Information Resources Management (SSP). The plan, Advancing the Next Generation of Technology in Texas, was developed to help state agency leaders evaluate technology initiatives that can assist the workforce they support in improving the delivery of services to the citizens of Texas.

Texas Partners With SANS Institute To Promote Cybersecurity Careers For Young Women
Governor Greg Abbott today announced that Texas will once again participate in an innovative cybersecurity training partnership with the SANS Institute. The Girls Go CyberStart Initiative is designed to encourage young women to become involved in the field of cybersecurity. The partnership focuses on recruiting female high school students in Texas to compete in the Girls Go CyberStart challenge for scholarship
