AUSTIN - The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) has launched a new online portal to assist its customers in the procurement of IT staff personnel. The Information Technology Staff Augmentation Contract (ITSAC) portal is designed to facilitate, automate, and validate portions of the competitive bid procurement process. The portal will streamline the solicitation process for DIR customers, ITSAC-awarded vendors, and DIR staff.

What this means for DIR Customers:

The ITSAC Portal will be the new one-stop shop where customers will fill out a solicitation request, submit for posting, and review responses submitted by vendors.

Customers will log into the ITSAC Portal through the DIR website and submit solicitations. Eligible vendors will be notified of open solicitations and be able to add IT staff candidates for consideration. Once the solicitation response deadline has passed, customers can review the responses, see the list of candidates, and download candidate resumes. Customers will continue to reach out to the ITSAC vendors for candidate interviews. Once the solicitation has been awarded, customers will be able to update the portal to reflect candidates that were hired.

What this means for ITSAC Vendors:

Solicitation requests will be available to eligible vendors on the ITSAC Portal. Vendors will receive email notifications when solicitations have been posted, cancelled, or awarded.   The ITSAC Portal will allow the vendor to review details regarding the solicitation and download pre-populated packets.

Customers will continue to reach out to chosen vendors for candidate interviews and potential award. To access the portal, visit the DIR website at https://dir.texas.gov/ and click on Sign Into My DIR.
