New Accessibility Web Page Launched to Better Serve Texans with Disabilities

The new web page is available through Texas.gov, the official website of the State of Texas, and is designed to provide easier access to government services for Texans with disabilities.

The new accessibility web page is part of Texas state government’s ongoing commitment to ensure that all Texans have equitable access to important government resources and information. The page provides a wide range of accessibility resources, and more will be added over time. Some of the key features are a simplified and streamlined layout that is easy to navigate for users with visual or cognitive disabilities.

"Texas is committed to making government services more accessible and user-friendly for all Texans, including those with disabilities," said Marie Cohan, DIR’s Statewide Digital Accessibility Program Administrator. "The new accessibility web page is a step forward in achieving that goal, and we are proud to offer it to the community."
