DIR Releases Security Services Guide

The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO) team at the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) is excited to release the new Security Services Guide.

The first edition of DIR’s security services guide was developed to provide a single source of all DIR’s security-related services as well as how, when, and where to get assistance and support from the OCISO team.

The OCISO team works to set state information security policies and standards, publish guidance on best practices, improve incident response preparedness, monitor and analyze incidents, coordinate security services, and promote information sharing throughout the public sector cybersecurity community.

The guide provides a consolidated and simplified view of the various services and products from DIR and how to access and request services.
