Topics for March

Lessons from early adopters of Microsoft Teams

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS) was an early adopter of Microsoft Teams starting in 2018 and now enjoys 90% active use of Teams across all departments. TRS business leadership and enterprise IT leadership wanted to provide a modern work experience to their employees aligned to their multi-year Digital Workplace Strategy and their "Work from Anywhere" initiative.

Microsoft Teams and the broader Office 365 platform served as the foundation of their program. Come learn about how they used Organizational Change Management (OCM), multi-channel communication and end-user training best practices to drive employee excitement and reduce resistance to a new way to work.

Rapidly deploying Teams for remote work scenarios

Microsoft will provide updated guidance on how to rapidly deploy a minimal configuration of Microsoft Teams to enable large scale remote work scenarios. All agencies are already licensed for Microsoft Teams so the guidance is based on using the software agencies already have access to in their Microsoft Office 365 subscriptions.
