Shared Reporting and Business Analytics Pilot
Section 2054.576 of House Bill 1890 (R84) requires state agencies to prioritize shared solutions when considering implementing new applications or remediation strategies. The bill directs DIR to begin this activity by creating a shared reporting and business analytics service. It authorized DIR to evaluate options for the service by performing a pilot. The pilot would help spur collaboration to identify common reporting and business analytics needs. It would also provide an opportunity to vet cross-agency requirements gathering and deployment of a shared use-case.
DIR completed the pilot in November 2016 and has published an executive summary on the pilot results.
